We are a family-owned US trailer manufacturer specializing in overland camping trailers. We build other trailers as well, but the campers are what we love to build.

Along with hiring great people, we use only the finest materials available to build your trailer. You will love using your trailer as much as we love using ours.
We don't want to build your only trailer, we want you to feel so good about the product that we produce that you will want to continue using Drifter Trailers if your trailer needs change.
Our goal is not to build the most trailers every year, we want to build the best trailers every year, and that's what we do.

We are currently running about 10 - 12 weeks out. We have cancelations from time to that may change this wait time. Please email and ask for a quote, we will list the earliest available build date on your quote. Our Bare Bones trailers can be ready in as little as 4 weeks.
Simply choose the model and size of the trailer you want and send us an email with a list of options you'd like to have. The price listed is the price excluding any delivery or shipping charges.

You make your initial deposit.
With the final payment being due two weeks before the scheduled completion date.

At Drifter Trailers we are very proud of our Military and First Responders. We offer a free 90-Watt portable solar system on most of our models for military and first responders, active duty, honorable discharge or retired.
We do not offer any discounts or free items on our Bare Bones model.
Yes, we do. We prefer to have you pick your trailer up person so we have the opportunity to meet you, but we understand that isn't always an option. We are happy to arrange the shipping for you or we will work with your shipper.
Sales tax varies based on where you purchased and where you register your trailer.
If your trailer is to be registered in GA. we will collect the GA. sales tax.
Tag and title fees vary from across the country. You will need to check with your local DMV for that information.
You may need insurance to cover your loan. In most cases, your trailer is covered by the tow vehicles insurance policy. Be sure to verify that your policy will cover your trailer.
All Drifter Trailers are registered as an enclosed trailer.

Our Bare Bones model doesn't have brakes. Brakes can be added as an option.
All other Drifter Trailers come standard with electric brakes.
Our frames are designed and built by the people that use them and understand the abuse they sometimes have to take. Drifter Trailers frames are built using steel Made in the USA. We refuse to use inferior steel to manufacture our trailers, that's just one of the reasons our trailers are the toughest in the industry.
Yes, all new Drifter Trailers come with a one-year or two-year warranty. We do not offer a warranty on used/trade-in or consignment trailers.
